I had nothing planned when I started working on this piece. I looked at my paints and randomly picked out one; I went in with my big palette knife and just enjoyed the process of coloring my canvas - one long, wide stripe. Next, I picked out a color that would go with the previous one and kept working repeating this very satisfying process. By the end of it, it dawned on me, that life is so much easier if we can just go with the flow sometimes without imposing restrictions or constraints on ourselves and on people around us. Like these stripes, that are not perfect, yet they gel with the next color sometimes overlapping and sometimes blending but together creating a beautiful synchronous medley. This painting has a wide spectrum of colors blending and overlapping embracing the possibilities and expressing joy!
